| Comments | This is a great machine! Downsizing our operation, our loss is your gain. This is has been well kept in a climate-controlled small custom-job shop, and the printer has relatively low print time. The optional white ink and varnish were added by the manufacturer, machine was purchased new in Dec 2022. This is a thoughtfully engineered and robustly built machine, capable of stunning images at low speeds, but offers the best of both worlds with high-resolution images even at the highest speed settings. Tech support has been great (often remotely), and consumables/parts are readily available and ship quickly. We've had great luck printing on a variety of media daily including backlit Mylar, PVC, cardstock, corrugated cardboard packaging, coroplast, wood, metal/ACM, acrylic, and more. The Shark is a flatbed perfectly suited to print specialty applications and the largest variety of materials, up to 8'x4' with full bleeds. Print up 8ft x 4t meda to 4" thick using UV curable inks that adhere to nearly anything at high quality 2400 dpi output. The machine features CMYKWV, water-cooled LED lamps (long-lasting and high-curing), high-end Servo motors, vacuum-pulled inks (rather than positive pressure), quick start-up & shutdown, and more. |
